Pangong Tso, also known as Pangong Lake, is a beautiful saltwater lake located in the Ladakh region of northern India. The road to Pangong Tso can be somewhat challenging due to its remote location and extreme weather conditions. This road, leading to the lake from Leh, the capital of Ladakh, is scenic but can be difficult to traverse, especially during the winter months when some parts may be closed due to snow. Pangong Tso is situated at an altitude of approximately 4,350 meters, making it one of the highest lakes in the world. The distance from Leh to Pangong Tso is about 150 kilometers, which takes approximately 3 and a half hours to cover.
